Painting To Gogh delivers a kit of art supplies to its customers along with links to videos offering step-by-step instructions on painting a particular picture. “We make it so that people can paint wherever they want, whenever they want,” says Vik Chokshi, the Chicago startup’s chief operating officer. The company, led by CEO Shashin Patel, has shipped its art kits to customers in 19 states since launching two months ago. A $45 starter kit includes an easel, palette, brushes, canvas, acrylic paint and a disposable apron; for later orders, a $30 kit is available with just the paints, canvas and video tutorial. “We donate proceeds from every kits sold to help art flourish in underfunded areas,” Chokshi says.
Starter kits have everything you need to get started and include:
- High-end Aluminum Easel with carrying case (Reusable)
- Paintbrushes (Reusable)
- 16×20 Canvas
- Disposable Apron
